Peak season in the Maldives runs from December through April (dry season). Prices are at their highest. Low season, from May to November, offers 30-50% discounts. Seaplane transfers from Malé cost €300-600 per person return. Resorts accessible by speedboat (within 90 minutes of Malé) eliminate this surcharge. Speedboat is often included in the rate or charged €100-150 return. This is the most impactful difference on total budget.

3. Go All-Inclusive

In the Maldives, each resort is an isolated island. There's no alternative for dining: you're captive to the hotel restaurant. Without all-inclusive, meals can easily reach €100 per person per day.
