This document describes how Bednight collects, uses and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Bednight does not require any account creation. No passwords are stored. The following data may be collected:

• Browsing cookies: language preferences, selected travel priorities.
• Email address: only if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter.
• Anonymized search data: searched destinations, stay dates, filter criteria. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Outbound clicks: when you click through to a partner site (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.), the click is recorded anonymously for statistical purposes.

Bednight uses the following cookies:

• Functional cookies: language, travel priorities, display preferences. Strictly necessary for site operation.
• Google Analytics 4: anonymized audience measurement. IP addresses are anonymized. Retention period: 26 months.
• Microsoft Clarity: anonymized behavioral analysis (heatmaps, session recordings). No personally identifiable data is collected.
• Third-party partner cookies: when you are redirected to a partner site (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, etc.), these sites may set their own cookies in accordance with their respective policies.

• Analytics data (Google Analytics, Clarity): maximum 26 months.
• Newsletter email address: retained until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.
• Functional cookies: session duration or 12 months maximum.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your data.
• Right of rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Right of erasure: request deletion of your data.
• Right of portability: receive your data in a structured format.
